Shoutout to the person who told me to stick with 'The Bear' after the first episode
I thought the frantic kitchen chaos was just annoying stress porn, but the 'Fishes' episode in season 2 convinced me it's about family trauma. Anyone else have a show that won them over against their will?

Fishes was season two, not season one.

Yeah that mix-up happens all the time, the timeline gets fuzzy. I just keep a note on my phone with the episode list now, saves a lot of back and forth. It's the only way to keep it straight when you're talking about it with people.

Ever have a show you kept watching just because your friend wouldn't shut up about it? I hated the first few episodes of 'Succession' because everyone was so awful. But then that scene where Kendall fails at the press conference... it clicked that the whole show is about watching these kids fail to become real people. My friend was right, I just had to get past my own annoyance.
