Finished The Last Kingdom and made a proper Viking stew to match

Seven seasons and my partner finally made it through all that Saxon drama. Made a big pot of meat and root veg stew that felt straight out of Bebbanburgh. It was the best way to close out the show, honestly.

Totally get that... made a big shepherd's pie after binge-watching a show set in the countryside once. Somehow just eating what they might have eaten makes the whole ending hit different.

Honestly? Seems like a lot of effort. It's just a TV show. A regular stew would have tasted the same without all the Viking role-play.
