Pro tip: my messy garage turned into a home gym in 9 months and the before pic makes me laugh
Took a photo of my garage back in March. Piles of junk, old paint cans, a broken treadmill under a tarp. Fast forward to now, and there is a rack, a bench, and a rubber floor in there. The whole flip took 9 months and about $700, mostly because I sold the junk on marketplace instead of hauling it to the dump. What finally pushed me was paying $60 a month at a gym I went to maybe 4 times. Anyone else turn a dead space into something useful after putting it off way too long?
Four visits is being generous. Most people sign up in January and show up twice before the guilt kicks in. Then they just pay it for three years because canceling means actually talking to someone. That gym has a better business model than most banks.
