I spent a whole weekend trying to find my great-grandmother's wedding photo in my attic before realizing it was in a shoebox labeled 'sewing stuff' the whole time.

It took me about 14 hours of searching through dusty boxes and old furniture before I finally found the photo, which was tucked inside a worn envelope under some spools of thread, so has anyone else had a family keepsake hidden in plain sight under a totally wrong label?

Does anyone else have that one box in the house that just collects random stuff with no rhyme or reason? My dad labeled a tote "Christmas decorations" and I found like three old fishing rods and a tax return from 1997 in there. Guess I'm not the only one with a genius labeling system around here.

Oh man, that's actually a pretty smart label! My family just throws everything in boxes marked "misc." so it's a total guessing game.

Come on, it's just boxes in an attic. Not like we're solving world hunger here.

Ever find something in the worst labeled box? @henryp40 is right about "misc" being useless. I found my grandpa's war medals in a box that just said "kitchen junk" on it.
