That $90 clipper blade sharpening kit was a total dud

Picked up one of those universal blade sharpening kits online after seeing a guy on IG make it look easy. Tried it on my Wahl blades and it just made them worse, uneven cuts on the next three clients. The stone they gave me was too fine and I ended up having to send all my blades to a pro in Chicago, cost me another $120 in shipping and fees. Should've just stuck with my old method of swapping blades every six weeks. Anyone else get burned by DIY sharpening gear?

Stuck to sending mine out after ruining two blades, cheaper than replacing unhappy customers.
