My appointment book hit 40 regulars this month and it feels weird

I never kept track before, but when I counted it up, it was a solid number. It matters because it means I'm not just cutting hair for random people anymore, you know? How do you guys handle that shift from walk-ins to mostly regulars?

My buddy Dave hit 30 regulars last year and said his shop went from loud music to just knowing what people want to hear.

Sounds like Dave's shop turned into a psychic barbershop. Bet he just plays the same classic rock station but now acts like it's a deep personal choice for each guy.

Dave's probably just guessing based on the haircut. My barber plays country for the older guys and rap for the younger ones, it's not that deep. He's just trying to make the place feel nice.
