I think the push for everyone to use a straight razor for every neck shave is overrated
Last Tuesday, I had a full book of appointments and my hand was just cramping up by the third straight razor neck shave, so I switched to my trusted safety razor for the rest of the day and every single client still said it was the closest shave they'd ever had.

Remember when my old laptop keyboard died mid-project. Had to finish on my phone, and honestly the client feedback was the same as always. Makes you wonder what we stress over.

Does that ever make you question what tools we really need to do good work? Like @hollyl25 said, the clients didn't notice the switch, so maybe we spend too much time on perfect fonts or fancy software. I once spent hours on a slide deck layout, but the client only cared about the three bullet points in the middle. What's one thing you used to stress over that you now know doesn't matter to the end result?
