Had a Saturday last month where I booked 14 haircuts and only messed up one fade

It was a random Saturday in October at my shop in Dallas, and I don't know what happened but everything just clicked. I was using my normal Wahl Seniors and my usual routine, but every blend came out perfect except for this one kid who wouldn't sit still. Has anyone else had a day where the clippers just seem to do the work for you?

That scheduling is a recipe for burnout. I've seen shops pack appointments tight thinking they're maximizing profit but they end up running 20 minutes behind by noon. The walk-in customers and people wanting a quick chat about their hair will wreck that whole day. You gotta leave at least 5-10 minutes of buffer between each booking to account for cleanup and the unexpected. Someone with that many cuts better be charging premium prices just to make it worth the stress.

@cole_baker how exactly does a person who cuts hair fit 14 people into one day? Do you just cut every head in fifteen minutes flat? I'm picturing a salon that runs like a fast food drive thru. What happens when someone wants a consultation or shows up with a complicated request? That schedule sounds like a disaster waiting to happen. I wouldn't want to be the customer getting squeezed into that lineup.
