DAE think free checking with paper statements beats every fintech app for bills?
I closed my Chime account 4 months ago and went back to a plain checking account at a credit union in Fresno, and my overdraft fees went from $70 a month to zero. The app had instant transfers but also made it way too easy to tap and spend, so now I just get a paper statement every month and my rent check clears the same day. Anyone else ditch the apps and feel less broke on a boring old account?
