Found a $35 proofing box, my bread finally rises on schedule

After 4 months of fighting cold kitchen drafts and lopsided loaves, I grabbed a cheap proofing box off an auction site. It holds 78 degrees steady and my last two sourdough bakes came out even. I used to set dough on top of the dryer and hope, which worked about half the time. Has anyone else tried a budget proofing setup, or do you just crank the oven light and call it good?

4 months of that dryer roulette and you only got a box now? I would have cracked way sooner and just bought one new. That $35 price tag makes it sting less though, especially since your bakes are finally coming out even.
