Can we talk about that loaf of bread that collapsed right after I pulled it from the oven?
I was at a church bake sale in Des Moines last Saturday where an older lady showed me her trick of letting bread cool upside down in the pan for 10 minutes first. Has anyone else had issues with bread sinking and found a fix that actually works?

Tbh, the_anthony might be onto something, I read that old yeast loses its oomph and can cause a collapse like that. Also heard letting the bread rest in the pan for a bit helps, which matches what that lady in Des Moines said.
