I ignored him and bought a 2011 Silverado with 140k on it for $11,500, and 4 years later it is still running fine, so now every family BBQ starts with him glaring at my truck in the driveway, and honestly I want to know if I am just lucky or if that rule is overblown for anything made after 2008.
