I used to think budgeting apps were all the same until I actually tracked spending for 3 weeks
I downloaded Mint about a year ago and just let it sit there, never really looking at it. Then my roommate dared me to log every single purchase manually for 21 days, which sucked honestly. Turns out I was dropping like $65 a month on random gas station snacks and energy drinks without noticing. Has anyone else had a wake up call like that after actually looking at their numbers?

Oh yeah, totally. I did the same thing and found out I was spending almost $50 a month on takeout coffee, which really added up fast. Made me rethink my whole morning routine.

Wait, did that include weekends too or just workdays? I feel like my coffee spending is way higher on Saturdays when I'm not rushing out the door, but I never actually track it (probably because I don't want to know, honestly). Did switching to a travel mug or making your own at home change the habit for good, or did you slip back after a few weeks? I keep telling myself I'll do the math, but I'm scared of what I'll find out, you know? It's wild how a small daily thing can just disappear into the budget without you noticing.
