I'm sick of buying those flimsy fire pits from the hardware store that rust through the bottom after a single season. Can anyone recommend a high quality, heavy duty metal fire pit that will actually last?

Isn't the whole point of a fire pit that it's easy to move around? Those super thick steel ones are a nightmare because they weigh a ton. You'll never want to drag it out of the way for mowing, and it holds heat for hours so you can't put it away after you're done. I'd rather get a solid but lighter one and just accept I might need to replace it way down the line.

You should check out S&S Fire Pits. They are built like absolute tanks. It's solid carbon steel and designed to last a lifetime.

I agree, I've had mine for a couple of years now and it just gets better with age. The rust patina is intentional and protects the thick steel.
