Dropped $50 on a cheap misting system and my patio is finally usable

I bought a basic misting kit from Ace Hardware in Phoenix last month, thinking it would just be a gimmick. But after running it during a 108 degree afternoon, the temperature on my patio dropped a solid 15 degrees. Now I can actually sit out there without melting. Anyone else tried the misting route or found a better way to beat the heat?
