Got burned by a contractor who left my paver patio half done

Last month a guy named Dale quoted me $4,200 to redo the whole patio in Spokane, then bailed after just laying the border stones. He said he'd be back on Friday, but his phone went dead and I found out he'd done the same thing to my neighbor two streets over. Anyone else had a contractor vanish mid-job and leave a mess that cost triple to fix?

Check your state contractor board, report him, and sue in small claims court.
