Tbh, the Teton Crest Trail versus the Wind River High Route last summer showed me one clear winner for views.

I mean, the Wind River route just felt more wild to me. Those endless granite basins and seeing the Cirque of the Towers up close, it's on a whole different scale. The Tetons are iconic, but they feel like a postcard view you're walking toward. In the Winds, you're just completely swallowed up by the mountains.

Teton Crest's views are just unbeatable.

What time of year did you go? I did the hike last fall and the colors were insane, like the whole valley was on fire. Getting up early to beat the crowds at Lake Solitude made a huge difference. That quiet morning light on the Grand is something I'll never forget.
