After chasing a water leak on a customer's Civic for three days last month I finally traced it to a $9 trunk seal I'd overlooked because I assumed it was the sunroof drains, and the look on his face when I showed him the soggy spare tire well was worth every minute. A $9 seal causing three days of grief seems like a stretch when sunroof drains clog way more often on those Civics. Honestly I'd still check the drains first before pulling apart the trunk trim.
