The $60 used label maker that fixed my inventory mess

I run a small parts resale shop out of my garage in Round Rock and my bin system was pure chaos. Last month I finally broke down and bought a used Brother label maker off Craigslist for 60 bucks. Spent a Saturday afternoon printing out part numbers and bin IDs for everything I had in stock. It sounds dumb but that one afternoon saved me at least 4 hours a week hunting for stuff I know I have but could never find. I also stopped double ordering parts which was quietly eating like 150 bucks a month in duplicates. The labels started peeling on some oily bins so I taped over them and that held fine. Has anyone else tried a cheaper label maker or did you spring for a fancier one with a computer hookup? I'm curious if the Bluetooth ones are worth the jump or if I should just stock up on tape refills for this thing.

Ever thought about scanning your labels with your phone instead of taping over them?
