Burned $1,200 on a "premium" co-working membership at Common Desk downtown last spring and never used it

I signed up for the all-access plan thinking I'd network with startup founders and close deals. Instead I went maybe 4 times in 3 months because the parking situation on East 6th is a nightmare and my team kept working remotely anyway. Total waste of cash for a shiny office I barely set foot in. Anyone else fall for the co-working hype and regret it?

Ha, sounds like you paid $1,200 for a parking spot and a door you never opened. Did you at least grab a free coffee on your way out?

Did they at least give you a loyalty card for the next $1,200 visit?

Ended up at a dentist in Tulsa once who charged me $800 for a "consultation" that was really just a receptionist handing me a clipboard. I told @grantp14 my advice is to call your bank and dispute the charge. Half the time they'll side with you if you explain it was basically a parking fee. I got my money back in three days with a phone call.
