Stick with a silky saw over a husky handsaw for pruning

I was using a Husqvarna handsaw for a year on my pruning jobs in Portland and always felt like I was fighting the cuts. Last month I grabbed a Silky Zubat on a whim and tried it on a big maple removal. The difference was night and day - it cut through 6 inch limbs in half the strokes with way less binding. Anyone else notice a big gap between these two brands for hand saws?

Used to swear by the Husky and figured any hand saw over fifty bucks was just paying for a name. Picked up a Silky for a big willow job last spring and it took me about ten minutes to realize I had been making things way harder than they needed to be. The blade just bites in clean and the pull cut does the work for you. Binding stopped being a problem too, even on green wood that was still full of sap. Now my Husky sits in the truck as a backup and I grab the Silky every single time. That first cut on the maple is what sold me for good.

That willow sap just laughs at a Husky honestly. @parker_palmer44 someone finally said it, pull cut is the whole game.
