I've been fixing washers for 15 years and everyone swears by the multimeter first, but a good pressure tester has saved me more time on 80% of my no-fill calls.

Yeah, my pressure tester is my go-to for that too.

Oh for sure, @brookebaker. It's a total game changer. I use mine to check for slow leaks in tires all the time, saves me a trip to the shop. It's also clutch for making sure my bike tires are exactly where I want them before a long ride. Honestly, I even used it on a soccer ball once when it felt a little soft.

Totally, I use mine so much I should probably name it. @sage_green has the right idea keeping one in the car, mine just lives in a junk drawer somewhere.
