Serious question, should I apologize for wasting $200 on that hydroponic kit?
I bought this indoor hydroponic system last January for $200 because I wanted fresh lettuce all winter. I set it up in my kitchen, followed the instructions, and for three months I got exactly one sad little head of lettuce that tasted like dirt. The pump stopped working after day 40 and the company wanted me to pay $30 more for a replacement part. I threw the whole thing in the garage last week and now I'm debating whether I owe my wallet an apology for being so impulsive. Has anyone else here dumped money on a gadget that promised way more than it delivered? What did you do with the leftover guilt?

Man, my bread machine died after two loaves and now it's just a fancy paperweight.

Aw man, that stings. Nothing worse than a fancy new gadget that craps out on you right when you're getting excited about it.
