Update: the guy at the comic shop in Reno talked me into one episode of Mushishi and now I get it
I was at Shelf Life Comics on Plumb Lane about two weeks ago buying a volume of Vinland Saga and the owner, Dave, would not stop bringing up Mushishi every time I checked out. I finally gave in and watched episode 1 that night, then finished the first season in 4 days, which is fast for me since I usually only watch 2 or 3 episodes a night. Something about the slow pace and the fact that the main character just helps people with no big fights really landed for me, and I never would have tried it without a real person pushing me. What show did a stranger or shop worker talk you into that you ended up loving?
