PSA: I thought the whole 'anime pacing is slower than manga' thing was overblown until I tried reading One Piece instead of watching it

Right? I breezed through like 200 chapters of the manga in a weekend and realized I'd only watched like 30 episodes in that same amount of time. The Dressrosa arc in the anime is basically a whole separate show with all the padding they added.
