Wasted $350 on those wireless alarm sensors from the big box store
I figured I'd save some money by buying a 10 pack of those no-name wireless sensors off the shelf instead of my usual commercial supplier. Three of them failed within the first month, total junk. One kept sending false alarms at 2am on a Tuesday, drove me nuts. Spent another 4 hours on site swapping them out plus dealing with an angry customer who was about to cancel. The $350 I thought I saved cost me way more in time and reputation. Anyone else get burned by cheap wireless sensors that just don't hold up?

Ugh, same thing happened to me with a batch of those cheap sensors from the home improvement store. Three went bad in under two months, and one kept chirping at 3am for no reason at all. Ended up spending a whole Saturday rewiring everything, totally not worth the headache savings.

Holy crap, that sensor kept chirping at 3am for no reason? That's the stuff of nightmares, man. I'd have probably just moved out of my house at that point, lol. It's always the cheapest stuff that ends up costing you the most time and sanity, isn't it? I swear, those deals at the hardware store are a total trap. You're way more patient than me, I would've just tossed the whole thing in the trash after the first night of that nonsense.

My buddy had the same thing happen. He just unplugged it and threw it in the garage.
