Switched from air ratchets to cordless angle wrenches on overhaul jobs
I spent 6 years using a pneumatic 3/8 air ratchet on PT6 hot sections. It got the job done but I was always fighting hose routing and slipping sockets. Last month I finally grabbed a Milwaukee cordless angle wrench after my buddy swore by his. First time using it on a compressor turbine overhaul I cut my time from 45 minutes down to 27. No more dragging hoses across the floor or fighting for that one swivel fitting that always binds. Has anyone else made the switch and noticed a difference on specific engine jobs?

That hose dragging pain is just another reminder most problems in life come from what's physically tying us down.

Tripped over my own air hose just yesterday trying to move across the garage... tangled up in it like a dog on a leash. Ended up just dropping my tools and standing there cussing at the thing for a solid minute before I untangled myself. Makes you really feel every bit of physical weight you're carrying around when you're fighting with something that dumb.

Man I felt this in my bones. Last week I was trying to snake an extension cord through my garage and ended up wrapped in it like a spiderweb, just stood there with my arms full of stuff looking at the ceiling like "why me." The worst part is when you're already tired from work and the dumbest little thing like a hose or cord just breaks you down to nothing. Its like the universe picks the moment youre most frustrated to add another layer on top. Hope you got untangled and walked away for a minute before trying again.
