Can we talk about the fuel truck driver in Wichita who asked why I torque to spec instead of German spec
I laughed it off until he said "good enough is how you end up in a report," and now every time I grab the wrench I do the full click, so what's the dumbest shortcut someone actually talked you out of?

Wait, the FUEL TRUCK driver said that? A guy hauling gas for a living dropping a line that cold about reports is wild. Usually it's the old timer at the shop mumbling about how he never used a torque wrench and nothing ever fell off. That "good enough" speech clearly stuck with you for a reason.
