Vent: Spent 2 hours wrestling with an AI image upscaler for a client project
I was at my desk in Portland last Thursday trying to upscale some product photos for a Shopify store. The AI tool kept adding weird artifacts to the fabric textures no matter what settings I tried. Finally switched to a different model from the same provider and it worked like a charm on the first pass. Has anyone else run into these weird quirks between different versions of the same AI tool?

Burned 2 hours on a tool that only worked when I stopped using it.

@the_jennifer reminds me of the time I tried three different noise reduction settings before finding the one that didn't turn my photos into soup.
