TIL my AI art generator went wild during a demo at a local meetup
I was showing off a new image model at a tech meet in Denver last week, and it started creating pictures of cats with way too many legs... like eight or nine. It happened after I typed 'playful kitten' and the whole room saw it glitch out. I had to quickly switch the prompt to 'single cat sitting' and restart the model to get normal results. The whole thing took about three minutes to fix, but it was pretty awkward. Has anyone else had an AI tool just invent weird extra features like that?

Eight or nine legs on a kitten is a new kind of glitch.

Hold up, @evakelly, I gotta disagree. That's not a glitch, it's just a weird angle or maybe a trick of the light. Kittens tangle up all the time when they sleep. I've seen my own cat look like a furry octopus from certain views. Calling it a glitch makes it sound fake, and the internet has enough of that already. What makes you so sure it's not just a normal pile of kitten?

Maybe the camera itself is glitching.
