Nailed 30 days straight of making my own lunch for work | Adulting Confessions

My friend tried this for a month and said it was the first time she actually looked forward to her lunch break instead of rushing through it. @tarabell nailed it about the vegetables, she never ate them before either.

That's awesome, congrats on 30 days. @avery_ross mentioned that study about saving 2 hours a week and honestly I used to think meal prep was overhyped. Used to just grab fast food every day and called it efficient. But after forcing myself to do this for a few weeks I totally get it now. The time adds up fast when you're not standing in drive-thru lines or deciding what to eat. Plus my wallet feels way better and I actually eat vegetables now instead of fries. The habit really does stick once you give it a real try.
