Appreciation post: How a cornstarch coating gives air fryer wings that perfect crisp

Honestly, that sounded crazy to me at first! I was sure it would taste weird. But after trying it, I'm totally convinced! The pudding mix makes the chicken so tender and adds a sweet glaze. It's like a secret hack for easy flavor! Now I want to try it on other meats too.

Sanding oak without a mask cost me a week of work

Honestly I was the same way for way too long, thought my shop fan did enough. What got me was sanding some walnut shelves last fall and I could taste it for days after. Now the mask is right next to my sander, clipped to the cord so I literally can't miss it. That weird tight feeling in your chest is just not worth it. I don't even hand sand without one now.

After weeks of frustration, I finally stopped cable twist by tweaking the drum alignment.

Guess I’ve been blaming cheap line when the real issue was me overloading my brain.

Holding off on stocks for a decade worked for me...

You know, I always bought into the idea that time in the market beats timing the market. Watched friends get hit hard in 2008 and again in 2020, and I just figured that was the cost of playing the game. Reading this actually makes me reconsider. Maybe sitting out those crazy volatile years was smarter than just blindly putting money in. This post kind of shows a different side of being careful. I guess patience isn't just about holding stocks, it can be about waiting to buy them too.

Ngl, comparing early seasons of habitat shows to today's eco-dramas feels surreal

Remember when Richard Hatch won the first Survivor by just outplaying everyone, no eco-lessons needed? I mean, it feels like every show now has to have a moral message, which kinda strips away the raw human element. Idk, maybe it's just me, but this shift mirrors how even our personal interactions are getting filtered through social media personas. We're so focused on presenting a polished image that we've lost the messy, authentic conflicts that actually define us. It's like survival TV has become another platform for performative activism rather than genuine struggle. And that sanitized version doesn't just bore viewers, it misrepresents what survival and human nature are really about.
