Pro tip: My solar panel binge turned the patio into a pigeon landing strip

I decided to ditch grid power and slapped solar panels on every inch of my patio to charge my gadgets. The setup looked like a tech junkyard, but I was proud of my green initiative. Then a pigeon squadron started using the reflective surfaces as a runway, causing chaotic bird landings during breakfast. I now have renewable energy and daily avian air shows, which my neighbors find hilarious. My power bill is negligible, but I've invested in a decoy owl to manage the traffic. Honestly, sustainable living comes with unexpected wildlife negotiations.

Your solar panel runway is a hilarious problem to have. Pigeons really know how to crash a green energy party. Using a decoy owl is a classic move, hope it keeps them away. This is the kind of stuff they don't tell you about going off-grid. Free power but now you're a bird traffic controller.

It's crazy how birds turn solar panels into their own playground. My cousin had the same issue with pigeons nesting under his panels. Those decoy owls seem like a good idea but birds catch on quick. You put money into green power and then fight with birds all day. Cleaning up after them is a constant chore too. Have you tried any other tricks to scare them off?

I mean my panels became a full-on bird bath last summer, had the same issue. Idk what it is with birds and shiny surfaces. Maybe it's just me but the decoy owl only worked for like a week before they didn't care.
