Took me 40 years to realize I was holding my pencil wrong the whole time

I caught myself gripping a pen like a caveman last Tuesday during a meeting and noticed my knuckles were white from the tension. My coworker handed me one of those triangle grips for kids and suddenly my handwriting stopped looking like a spider fell in ink. Anyone else have a basic skill they fumbled for decades before someone pointed it out?

Those triangle grips really are a game changer, saved my hand from cramping during long work days.

Nancy says they're a "game changer" but that's not quite the right way to look at it... they don't actually change the game for everyone. I think the real issue is that triangle grips only work well if you hold your pen in a certain way. If you have a different grip, like I do, they can actually make things worse because they force your fingers into a position that doesn't feel natural. A lot of people don't realize there's different shaped grips for different hand types, like the ones that are more oval or have a soft squishy texture. It's not that triangle grips are bad or good, it's that they only work for a specific kind of hand and grip style. Just wanted to clear that up so nobody buys a bunch of them thinking it's a magic fix for everyone.

Totally disagree, they made my hand cramp even worse.
