My brother said quit the job, I stayed 14 more months anyway

He told me last February to leave that Denver warehouse role before the new manager got settled, but I figured I could outlast the chaos. Guess who got laid off in the December cutbacks while my brother got promoted at his place? Has anyone else ignored a sibling's warning and paid for it with time, not just money?

I read once that siblings see blind spots we can't, and "quit the job" sounds like solid advice.
