Hit 10,000 miles on my bike last Saturday without even noticing

I bought a used Trek hybrid back in 2019 just to ride to the grocery store. Looked down at the odometer last weekend and saw 10,042 miles rolled up. What number snuck up on you like that and made you stop to think?
