Used to think hiring helpers was just extra overhead until my back gave out on a big retrofit
Struggling through that job solo showed me how much time and stress a good second pair of hands saves. Now I budget for labor on any project over a certain size.

Your 'back gave out' story hits home... mine did on a foundation pour, now I always crew up.

Who needs extra hands when your back's on strike?

Ever had that moment where your body just says 'nope' mid-job? Mine was a knee giving out on a deck build, and now I never skip on extra hands. Why risk your health when a little planning saves so much pain?

Knee injuries during deck construction are brutal, @emmahayes! Actually, your knee giving out might be linked to torque on uneven planks. Proper footing distributes weight better than just extra hands alone. I always mark cut lines clearly to avoid sudden twists that strain joints.
