Found out my 60 year old house still has the original galvanized pipes

Pulled up the floorboards in the bathroom last week to fix a leak and every single pipe is original 1963 galvanized steel. Has anyone else run into this and did you replace all of it or just piecemeal as stuff goes?

Are you even a real homeowner if you haven't found some ancient galvanized pipe surprise? My 1950s house had the same thing when I ripped up the kitchen floor, I just let it ride until it starts leaking.

My 70s house pipes are basically a time capsule too, guess we're both living the dream.

1963 pipes aren't that bad, but I'm with @williams.sage on waiting.
