The self-checkout scale that hates my cilantro
Every Tuesday at the Piggly Wiggly on 5th, I weigh my produce and the machine flags it as 'unexpected item' because the bag flaps over the sensor. Is there a trick to bagging greens without triggering the error, or do I just accept the 30 second stare-down with the teenage attendant?

Have you tried putting the cilantro in first before anything else goes in the bag? Curious if it's the weight of the greens themselves throwing off the scale or just the bag flap thing. Also does it happen with other light stuff like spinach or just your cilantro?
3
