When my brother tried to 'invest' in my landscaping business with lemonade stand profits

My younger brother overheard me talking about funding for my new landscaping company. He seriously proposed a partnership using his lemonade stand earnings, even drafting a contract with crayons. What's the funniest way a family member has ever tried to 'help' with your business?

Kids' business tries (like lemonade stands) often show their cute wrong ideas about adult work.

Actually, sometimes they get the simple parts right. Selling something people want for a price they'll pay, that's the core of it. The scale is just off.

Exactly! Let them make those mistakes, it's how they learn.

Remember that kid who tried to sell rocks as pets? That's the kind of thing I'm talking about. They totally miss the whole point of what people will actually buy. Miles_burns is right, they have to mess up to figure it out. My nephew once set up a stand selling single sips of lemonade for a dollar each. He learned real fast why that doesn't work.
