Finally got my credit score over 700 after 18 months of work
Honestly, it was stuck at 640 for ages until I set up autopay for my cards and got a secured card from Capital One. Anyone else have a specific tip that helped their score climb?

Honestly, I think people focus way too much on that number. My score has been in the low 600s for years, and I still got a car loan last month with a totally fine rate. The whole system feels like a game to make you stress over things you don't really need. I know a guy with an 800 score who's drowning in student loan debt, so what's it really measuring? Sometimes I wonder if just paying your bills on time and ignoring the score is the better move.
