Had a weirdly great week sketching at the park near my apartment
I mean, I was stuck on a design for a linen jumpsuit for like a month, but sitting outside for three afternoons last week with just a cheap sketchbook totally unstuck me. I think it was the people-watching and the natural light, idk. Has anyone else found that changing your usual work spot actually helps solve a creative block?

But what if the block is the problem itself? Sometimes a design is stuck because it's just not a good idea, and a change of scenery only gives you a fresh way to waste more time on it. Real solutions often come from grinding it out at your usual spot.

Yeah, the_wyatt is right. I get my best ideas away from my desk too. Something about just being out in the world.
