That time I hung a mirror and saw myself all wrong
I was putting up a new mirror in the hallway last week. Measured everything, used a level, thought it was perfect. But the old plaster wall had a hidden dip, so the mirror ended up tilted. When I stepped back, my reflection was all warped and silly looking. It hit me that we often try so hard to make things straight, but life has its own bumps. Now I smile every time I pass it, remembering not to sweat the small stuff. A crooked mirror taught me more about going with the flow than any book could.

Man, that's a really cool way to look at it. Sometimes the things we see as mistakes end up being the best reminders. Your story about the crooked mirror actually made me stop and think for a minute. It's true, we can plan everything just right and still get a weird result. Kind of nice you kept it up instead of fixing it. Makes you wonder what other little flaws we should just accept, huh?

Yeah, it's like that with most of my favorite stuff...

But what if fixing it feels better?

Totally, it's wild how those imperfect things stick with us. I've got a cracked phone case I won't replace for the same weird reason lol. Makes the whole idea of "perfect" seem kinda boring anyway.
