Pro tip: I bought a $200 'smart' water bottle that tracks your sips and it's just a heavy cup

Honestly, I saw it online and thought it would help me drink more water. After a month, the app never connected right and the battery died in like 3 hours. It's just a really expensive, annoying paperweight now. Has anyone else wasted money on tech that was supposed to make a simple thing better?

So you think the app works fine for everyone else? What makes you so sure it's not a wider issue?

Actually saw a bunch of people complaining about it on the other forum. Seems pretty widespread to me.
