Just quit using my activity tracker over data concerns.
Now my fitness routine is based on pure guesswork.

Yeah, I was all about the numbers too, but honestly guessing feels more natural now.

So when you say guessing feels more natural, what changed for you? Was tracking the numbers just getting too stressful or time consuming, or did you find you were hitting your goals without needing to check all the time? I'm trying to figure out if I should ease up on my own tracking.

My friend got so stressed tracking everything that she quit, but @finleys37, she actually lost more weight once she just listened to her hunger cues.

My old tracker showed me I was only burning around 1,800 calories on lazy days, which was a wake-up call. Without that info, I'd probably overeat and wonder why I wasn't losing weight. Guessing seems freeing, but it leaves too much room for error in my experience. I need those numbers to keep myself honest, you know? Otherwise I'll just tell myself I did enough when I really didn't.
