A client in Tulsa told me her skin felt 'safe' after a facial

She said it was the first time in years she didn't feel judged for her rosacea. That one word changed how I talk about sensitive skin treatments. Anyone else had a client phrase something in a way that stuck with you?

My old spa manager used to call it "problem skin" on the menu. Hearing a client say her face finally felt "quiet" after a treatment made me trash that whole wording. It's not a problem to be fixed, it's skin that needs a calm place.

Ever think it's like calling a shy kid "difficult"? @the_jana's story about skin feeling "heard" really hits that same note for me. It's all about the words we pick, isn't it?

My friend's client said her reactive skin finally felt "heard," which totally made me get what @the_simon meant.
