Hot take: I thought local radio ads were a waste until I heard one at the Edmonton airport.

I was waiting for a flight last month and heard a clear, simple ad for a personal injury firm that just said their name and the phrase 'Edmonton's tough cases'. It wasn't fancy, but it stuck because it was the only local voice in a sea of national brands. What's a small, specific place you've heard a legal ad that actually worked?

Nah, that's still a miss for me. An airport is full of people just passing through, not locals who need a lawyer. That's a huge waste of money even if you remember it.

Wait, is an airport ad really that big of a deal? Markh85 has a point about travelers not needing a local lawyer, but maybe the goal is just name recognition for when they do get back. Seems like a weird hill to die on either way.

Edmonton's tough cases" is a pretty solid tagline for that setting.
