Why does nobody talk about the new city permit portal being a total time sink?
I just lost a full day, about eight hours, trying to submit a simple residential addition plan. The new portal kept crashing and wouldn't accept my PDFs in the right format. I called the help line three times and got a different answer each time. Has anyone found a workaround or are we all just stuck with this?

That new portal is a special kind of hell. Spent half my day converting a PDF to every format known to man and it still failed. Maybe @oliverhernandez is onto something, if we all just pretend it's still the launch month we can't be disappointed by how bad it still is after half a year.

Guess my internal calendar runs on a different kind of time. I'm still living in the month it went up, mentally at least. My sense of time is so bad, I'd probably miss my own birthday if someone didn't remind me. It's a real skill, or maybe a curse.
