That tech who blamed my injector job instead of his bad fuel sample
Back in January at the TA in Sparks, this kid watched me swap out six injectors on a Pete 379 and then told the shop foreman my torque sequence caused his fuel pressure test to fail, but his sample bottle had water in it and I still lose sleep over how calm I stayed.

Man, I used to give every rookie the benefit of the doubt, figuring they just needed more seat time. But watching that dude hold up a water bottle and claim it was diesel, that flipped a switch for me. Some folks will never own their mistakes, and that's not about experience, that's about character.
