Shoutout to my neighbor for the diesel hose labeling trick

I was always getting my fuel and air lines mixed up in my home shop. Now I put colored tape on each hose end, and it saves me a ton of time. How do you keep your lines straight?

Yeah, the zip tie thing is solid for permanence. I started using them on hydraulic lines too, and it's a game-changer. You can even get ones with little tags to write on if you need extra info. Only downside is cutting them off when you reroute stuff, but that's what dykes are for. Honestly, once you go zip ties, tape just feels like a temporary fix.

Paint markers last forever on greasy lines.

Colored zip ties are my go-to now, they don't fall off like tape does.

Ever try using different colored zip ties? I did that for my coolant and oil lines last year. Honestly, it's way more permanent than tape in a greasy shop.
